As you probably know, I took back Fritz RUCK GmbH on April 1, 2023, after HOYA Corp. had made the decision in March 2022 to withdraw from the business of operating systems. 

The task of the remaining RUCK team is now to maintain the operation of the PentaSys or QUBE/PRO/Eyeflexa operation systems currently on the market.
That means that we supply you with consumables and provide technical services. We also still have some new and used devices in stock, which we will be happy to offer you if you are interested.

You may have received the information that you will no longer be able to use our devices after 24.05.2024, as the RUCK devices and accessories are not approved in accordance with the MDR, which will be the only valid regulation from that date.

Fortunately, the deadline for obtaining MDR approval has been extended. We will apply for MDR approval and get it on time.

For you as a RUCK device user, this means that you will probably be able to use the PentaSys and Qube/Pro devices indefinitely from a legal perspective. However, I would like to point out that the PentaSys devices are at least 10 years old and the procurement of spare parts is becoming difficult. Therefore, we will make an attractive offer to the users of the older PentaSys in the course of the year to exchange these devices for new or as good as new Qube/Pro.  

Of course, we can only maintain the service and supply of consumables for PentaSys and Qube/Pro as long as a sufficient number of these devices are in use.
